The World Presidents’ Organization (WPO), a global non-profit association of more than 4,800 CEOs, planned to merge with the Young Presidents’ Organization, a larger group with a similar mission. To proceed with the merger, WPO needed to build support among its members. WPO’s management team brought in CXO Communication to help.
CXO worked with WPO’s leaders to articulate the potential advantages of joining forces with the Young Presidents’ Organization. We launched a communication campaign for members and mobilized merger advocates within the WPO’s local chapters. Our activities ignited a coalition of support that ultimately propelled the merger forward. Today, guided by a common mission of “Better Leaders Through Education and Idea Exchange,” the combined YPO-WPO connects nearly 17,000 top executives from 300 local chapters in more than 100 countries.
