Ami Nyitray

Ami Nyitray is a design strategist for CXO Communication.  Ami brings CXO clients a rich background in brand, identity, advertising, web and direct gained through years of experience with some of New York’s top creative shops. 

Most recently Ami was an associate creative director for Brand Dialogue, Young & Rubicam’s interactive division.  Earlier in her career, she served as  an art director at Wunderman, an agency specializing in direct advertising and prior to that, she was a senior designer at web-design firm Method Five.  Ami’s clients and partners have included American Express, Apple, AT&T, Compaq, Gillette, Citibank, Dupont-Dow, MTV, National Geographic, Revlon, Sony and Virgin Records.  Before jumping to the agency side, Ami worked as an in-house designer for a book publisher, a new media company and a software development firm. 

Ami’s creative talents extend to jewelry and apparel design.  Her Victorian steampunk wearable “curiosities” have been featured in Bust Magazine, Fashionista.com, MightyGoods.com and Time Out NY as well as dozens of blogs.  Ami holds a bachelor’s degree in fine art from the Maryland Institute’s College of Art.
